Wild & the Moon Qasr Al Hosn (in the building as the Cultural Foundation) https://goo.gl/maps/1ZmCzQBxE2hYJyo37 🌱 Vegan alert!!! 🌱
🌎 Wild & the Moon believes that food should be good for you, good for the planet, and delicious. Their food is 100% organic, plant based, and unpasteurised. You’ll find no refined sugars, additives or chemicals, gmos, soy, dairy, or gluten. They currently have 3 locations in Dubai and several in France.
Upon our recent visit, we ordered:
🌹 Rose Latte (27AED) made with rose water and coconut Mylk and it was truly divine. It was like drinking a very light, Turkish Delight.
🥤 Smooth Green (39AED) tasted like any other good green smoothie.
🌮 Wild Tacos (58AED): Two homemade tacos filled with tasty goodness (shiitake, avocado...). I could have eaten ten of these!
🍝 Puttanesca (55AED): Konjac spaghetti, green zucchini, and loads of other veg creatively put together to taste amazing.
🍫 Chocolate Pudding (29AED): if every vegan dessert tastes like this, I’m converted. Wow. I couldn’t stop smiling as I shoved spoonfuls of this thick, gooey pudding into my mouth.
The eatery has a nice vibe. It is open, bright and beautifully furnished (a Scandinavian feel). It isn’t a stand alone restaurant as it flows onto a large visitor area.
We were served by an incredibly knowledgeable staff member who was a delight to talk to. He explained there were pre-packaged ready meals to grab and go, a Loyalty Card system, and a Detox Programme.
If you are vegan, Wild & the Moon should be on your list to try (or try again!).
But if you’re not a vegan (like myself), I’d encourage you to go for a visit if you are in the area. You never know... you may walk out converted!
