Villa Toscana

Jo Camp is eating Italian at Villa Toscana.

Well well well, where to begin!

Last night was the most spectacular Italian dining experience I have had.

From ambience to attentive staff to simply irresistible food! Villa Toscana is truly my new favourite in town.

A gorgeous Burratta to start, the flavours in this dish were sensational, simple but flavoursome.

For main hubby went for a Parmesan topped ribeye steak. The host suggested medium rare and it was perfection, crispy on the outside and beautifully tender.

Myself, I chose the seafood of all seafood dishes! Lobster, mussels, calamari, shrimp and scallops ..... all baked under a pizza dough.

For desserts we splurged on their non traditional magnum ice cream tiramisu and of course the chocolate fondant.

With mains and house grape on the entertainer, for a fancy meal I felt it was very reasonable (although I didn’t see the bill as hubbys treat!). I would recommend this to anyone who loves Italian and is feeling fancy!
