This is our 4th time coming here for dinner and everytime it gets better and better. Plus, it is even sweeter since it is our 17th wedding anniversary today! 😉
There's certainly no shortage of steakhouses here in Abu Dhabi. What I like about this restaurant is that, they are never busy and you get the full attention of their staff. Did you know they won the best steakhouse in Abu Dhabi 2017? Yes. Yes, they sure did.
What we ordered:
Starters: I had their Kelly shucked oysters. Half a dozen to be exact. The last visit they didn't have it and I was disappointed! The oysters weren't meaty BUT they were tasty and meatier than they looked 😋! Hubby had their soup of the day which was carrot soup and no, it was not just carrot soup. It was a beautiful smooth carrot soup.
Mains: I had their 1824 120 days grain fed Australian tenderloin with side dishes of sauteed mixed mushrooms and beautiful fresh garden salad. Hubby had their Australian wagyu 250g rib eye steak with baked potato and creamed spinach. Steak again was tender and soft as butter! 😋 All steaks come with different sauces that you can choose from and definitely you can order some add on side dishes.
Dessert: Oh my. Dessert. Yup. We shared a plate of their luscious sticky toffee pudding topped with vanilla ice-cream.
Fabulous ambience even though it is not outdoor nor it is al fresco. Service is always on par right from the start. I love the smell of lemongrass throughout the hotel. The chef will always give you mini delicious sample of food in mini plates 😉. We never had a bad meal or service here and we will absolutely be back again and again!
