Do you prefer your roast with beef or lamb? How about both?

Succulent and tender with crispy skin, the roast leg of lamb was beautifully cooked. Covered in rosemary and sage infused gravy, plus a dollop of mint sauce? Absolutely perfect. The roast beef came in close second.Both the baby potatoes and the jacket potatoes were a big win at our table - golden on the outside but soft and creamy on the inside, great alternatives to roast potatoes. Oh and the glazed carrots - yummm.

The yorkshire puds were perhaps a bit on the doughy side but we fed this back to the manager and they're working on perfecting them.

The roast dinner is served buffet style from 5pm so you can grab a table, take a plate and dig right in, no wait time! It's a small spread with only small plates so even when you go back for round 2 and 3, it's still fresh. And if you fancy glass of grape or beer, just ask the waiter.Now please, one at time. We don't need another breakfast-gate on our hands! 😆#featuredreview #invited
