5 ⭐️ all round We decided to go Old Skool this Christmas and booked Flavours at The Sheraton for Brunch. Our original booking was for 6 people, then 12 then 16. Each time I emailed them to change the booking, they were polite and the booking was changed and confirmed with no issues. No deposit was asked for, which surprised me as this is usually the case at other hotels for 10 or more people. The band was great, was a bit loud to start with but once the drinks started flowing, and flow they did, then it didn’t seem so noisy lol! Watermelontinis (in whole watermelons) were brought to the table complimentary, vodka and tequila jelly shots just kept appearing. The staff made sure that everyone was well oiled! Big shout out to our waiter Vijay, who had a huge smile on his friendly face all day long. I only had to look at him and give the thumbs up to get another drink. Kids area was small, but we hardly saw our kids, they only came back for more food or drinks, so it must have been good. The face painter was excellent, so good that many adults ended up painted too! One of our party got Rudolphed with a red nose. Santa came and all the kids got presents, a nice touch. The food was fab, the usual brunch starters, mains were typical Christmas fare: Turkey, Goose, Lamb and Beef all cooked to perfection, mashed potatoes, roast potatoes cooked in goose fat (the only way they should be cooked), all the usual veggies. My only complaint here was that they ran out of Brussels Sprouts very early on! Masses and masses of amazing cheeses and breads. Where they surpassed themselves though was with dessert. Just look at the photos attached! Amazing spread. Cost was 375dhs for the alcohol package (hop, grape, spirits and cocktails), which we thought very reasonable. All in all, a brilliant way to spend Christmas Day and surpassed all our expectations.
