Sangeetha, Musaffah branch ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Onam is a harvest festival celebrated in Kerala. The feast served on a banana leaf called Sadhya is an integral part of the celebration.
Wanting to try an Onam Sadhya, we chose to go to Sangeetha in Musaffah. The Sadhya is similar to their usual thali but more festive and elaborate. Am not an expert at this cuisine, but everything served was amazing. They give you a choice of Bareek Rice or Mota Rice. Nearly 4 vegetable side dishes, a basic dal, sambhar, rasam, dahi, dalvada, papad, 2 desserts and a separate take away with a banana, 2 types of chips and 2 types of chutneys. Most of these dishes look simple at first glance, but this meal is fairly labour intensive to make at home. At 22 dirhams a meal for unlimited servings, it's a real steal.
