Jumeirah at Etihad Towers.
Date night (his choice): Ray’s Grill, Etihad Towers
We went the night before Valentine’s and could not fault the views, ambience or the food. Absolutely amazing.
We shared the chilli and lime grilled oysters which had a great fresh Thai flavour (sorry no pic).
He had the American ribeye and I had the sliced Australian Waygu.
The steaks were cooked exactly to our liking and salted. They had so much flavour.
But even better than them was the blue cheese broccoli. A must try! Accompanied by garlic and pesto mash potato.
We shared a white chocolate cheesecake to finish off. Portions were generous and left feeling nice and full.
The St Hallet’s Faith Shiraz from Australia was a great choice and one of the cheaper options on the menu at around 400dhs.
The only complaint was a staff member cleaning the adjacent table and spraying very strong glass cleaner in our direction. One whiff and all you could taste was chemicals in the back of your throat, and not delicious Barossa Valley Shiraz.
Bummer they aren’t on the entertainer too. Pricey night but worth it.
