Airport Road (junction of Falah St)
Just for the record, if Mrs L reads this, I am going to be in big trouble; the shepherd’s pie she made was absolutely amazing, but that was almost 4 hours ago...and temptation got the better of me! So, in stealth mode, I write...
Fairly new place, small with indoor and outdoor seating. The signage and decor drew me in. So, what’s different about this place? Other than saj and Shwarma’s, they bake their burgers in the brick built, flame grilled oven. I settled for the chicken fillet burger. The chicken is, I think, placed in the special bread with the fries, salad, home-made special sauce and cheese, and then put in the oven. Oh, and they seal the bread with some extra chees on top and a complementary slice of pepperoni.
The serving of chicken fillet was very generous and when you take a bite, the sauce drools down your chin, warranting your index finger to catch the bottom of the dripping sauce, push it back up its trail, a 90 degrees turn across the lips, and voila, nothing goes to waste! Absolutely amazing!!
This has got to be the healthiest burger in AD. It’s different and very satisfying. I particularly liked the bread; not thick nor dry. They say their meat burgers are even better! A return trip, me thinks 😎
