✨Punjab Grill, Venetian Village✨
So as you lovelies helped me quickly find the BB 'business lunch' listing for a last minute (and rare!) lunch date with my beau, I feel obligated to share the ❤️! Punjab Grill's 'set' lunch- oh my!!!✨
Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟🌟 Value for Money: ⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟🌟 Ambience: ⭐️⭐️🌟🌟
At 99aed, inclusive of tax, this lunch offering is truly tough to beat! The food is just incredible! You have lots of choice amongst appetizers, mains, breads, rice and desserts, the service is flawless, the decor- beautiful; I would honestly call it more of a 5 course feast!! (No dinner required!)
We enjoyed a huge array of food- the basket of poppadoms, sweet and sour chutneys and pickles at the outset was👌 My samosa with channa was amazing, while hubbie loved his watermelon slider. Chicken tikka three ways was INCREDIBLE, and came with aromatic cumin toasted rice, as well as fantastic garlic naan. Hubbie ordered the Punjabi grill which included a lamb and also lentil curry. Unexpected raspberry sorbet-type palate cleanser? Yes please!!🙋🙋 Dessert? (Typically not my v fav, was incredible too (lots of pistachios) 🙂 And then...? a complimentary Valentine's Day chocolate treat...(Yes you can bring home leftovers)! 😉 Oof.
But really it wasn't just the incredible food... The service here is top notch (to be honest, not always consistent throughout all Ritz or Venetian Village restaurants), and although not super busy, there was a really nice atmosphere and vibe today. Overlooking the canal, it's tempting to sit outside, but with the sudden temp jump we were very happy to enjoy the more luxurious interior:) And yet it was still relaxed- it really didn't feel pretentious:)
As lunch dates are something of a rarity for my husband and I at the mo, I had to be quick and subtle in my pic taking so as not to spoil the mood:) But I'm sure you'll get the jist:) The food was just 👌!
