The HUB WTC Mall.
Went to Pizza Express last night for the first time. I've been wanting to try it for a while but for finally got the push I needed because some friends were performing at their open mic night.Starting from reception the staff was super helpful. When we told them we were there to watch and eat they found us a good seat even though it was getting busy. The waiter was new and actually over attentive. If I used a napkin, two more showed up to replace it. He was really nice and I'm sure he'll find a balance when he's been on the job for a bit. But 5* for sure.We started with the chicken wings and bruschetta. The wings were really good with a nice flavour but not as good of a value as velocity. You only get 4 wings for 30 something Dhs. The bruschetta was done their way which as you can see is one piece of bread. Not my style. You have to cut it and prepare it if you're sharing which is messy. Then came the main. We went for the calebrese and added jalapeños because we like spicy. It was really good. The crust was great and just the right amount of crunch. The meat and cheese and all the flavor combinations were well balanced. Also you but your own pizza at the table so you get exactly the slice you want. We started at it before I remembered to take a picture. At 92dhs it won't be an every day thing but we were full from the size. We had already passed the point of no return and had to finish it because there wasn't enough to take home.Of course after dinner we popped up to Tamba for a quick after dinner drink.
