Al Wahda Mall
I NEVER write reviews but I always think I should for these guys… beware - it's a delivery post for Peppermill (Bani Yas).
Food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Environment (lounge and PJs) 👌👌👌
We live on a farm in the middle of nowhere and a lot of restaurants won't deliver - Peppermill is one of the few that do. (Il Forno also needs recognition here as they always make the drive out as well with great pizza).
Peppermill are one of the only ones that ALWAYS arrive at or before the expected delivery time and the food is always piping hot.
I am trying to cut down on meat so tried something I haven't had before - the Malai Kofta - which are these massive dumpling balls filled with nuts! (no pun intended!)... Covered in a sweet cashew nut curry. No spice really in that, so if you want it hotter ask for extra spicy👌. Not knowing what to expect it was an awesome surprise with this sweet, nutty curry.
The Aloo Gobhi is also really good - curried potatoes and cauliflower with ginger, tomato and cinnamon. I am addicted to ginger so could easily have more ginger next time. But it was really great comfort food.
Sides were just the rice - HUGE portion - and some garlic, as well as cheese and chili naan.
Comes with complimentary (still warm - that's a big deal for us out here in the desert) popadoms and sauces.
The portions are always huge and last me at least three meals - I generally count on having leftovers as a midnight snack 😂 and the following day. I am a tall girl and eat like a horse so for an ordinary human it would probably last longer.
I just wanted to publically thank them for the good service and to let them know that we appreciate their deliveries at such a high standard.
I'll add a photo but honestly it doesn't do it justice - and this is about one quarter of my portion. I actually had already wolfed down a plate and made this from the leftovers to show you 😂.
