Al Wahda Mall Extension, Level 3.
If you have been to the Philippines, then you should be familiar with their cuisines. I have never been but I am quite familiar with their food. Maybe because I love to eat?? Too much 😂.
It is an all you can eat buffet and Pampangenos change the menu daily apparently. You get at least 12 types of dishes including fresh lumpia (fresh spring rolls with vegetables & topped with sweet sauce), noodles, rice, soup AND also desserts. So for 35aed (excluding VAT), it is a really good value. There's also mineral water, calamansi juice and iced tea. Very tasty noodles, beef and chicken dishes. Their desserts such as biko (my favorite) and puto kutsinta are so good! Biko is basically a sweet rice cake made of coconut milk, brown sugar, and glutinous rice 😋. Puto kutsinta is steamed rice cake and has a jelly-like, chewy consistency eaten with grated coconut on top.
I came by myself leaving my fussy girlfriends behind 😉. I blend well though as everyone thought I am a Filipino also 😂. I just mind my own business and just kept stuffing my face while being serenaded by the late White Houston in the background! Service is very good and food was consistently topped up. Buffet timings starts at 12noon. I will be back and perhaps drag my fusspots friends here to let them try the food 😁. They tend to get very crowded fast so best to come early.
