Hi all! This is my first review and my second Iftar, but I have to share this wonderful experience!
I had Iftar last Saturday at Ornina, in Al Bandar. It was amazing and definitely, I will be back!
At First, they provide a warm welcoming with coffee or tea. Once you cross the door, the first impression doesn’t disappoint, the place is simply amazing! I don’t have too many pictures because it was an intimate ambiance (dark) with candles, but worth to visit. The overall theme is Arabic style (decoration, food, uniforms, etc.). A good touch... they had partitions between tables, so really feels like having an intimate dinner. This details along with the music made my experience absolutely unique!
Food: varied and tasty. They have traditional soups (I’m not a big fan so I didn’t try), different salads, tabouleh, hummus (Outstanding!! I highly recommend it). They have different fatayers (cheese was my favourite) and kebbehs. As well as different kind of meat, fish and 2 huge tanginess (I will go back for the couscous chicken! Delicious!). And my weakness... the desserts, I loved all them!
They had the traditional Um Ali (incredible!!!!!!), Katayefs, Creme Brule and Chocolate Mouses. And for those who are not a sweets fan, they have a different selection of fruits.
Juices: Soft drinks are included along with several Ramadan special juices that I have never tried. I liked the most the Tamar Hindi juice.
Service: The best! They are really kind, attentive and fast.
Place: After eating, we ordered shisha (which was lovely) and we went to the terrace where the views are beautiful, it’s like you are on a boat!
Price: AED 120 per person.
To sum up, it’s was a perfect night :)
