Quick review of Nattas - very pleasant decor with traditional Fado music playing - I approve!
I came for dinner rather than the expected pastel de nata, so after perusing the menu settled on a "Francesinha" - a multi-layered sandwich with sausage, steak, turkey ham, covered with cheese and baked - then a fried egg is placed on top. And then, in a total disrespect for my healthy-eating scheme, the whole jazz is covered with a Portuguese sauce. That's right folks - not one for the calorie-counters!
Before the brute was brought out, a basket of complimentary toasted Portuguese bread with a bowl of butter was offered - this alone makes me like the place - in my opinion bread should always be a complimentary dish, it makes for such a homely, feel-good atmosphere!
The service was perfect and the Francesinha was great - overall I give it a 🇵🇹🇵🇹🇵🇹🇵🇹.
Definitely one for the biters to try.
Bill was AED 75 - fresh orange juice + the beast.
