Let's Wok

Embassies District.

I wanted something healthy and tasty for lunch and have wanted to try Let's Wok for a while. We ordered two small plates for the kids and large for us because the waitress informed us that small would only be enough to feed kids.

We ordered 3 with udon noodles and different flavour options: satay, teriyaki, black bean and sweet and sour. To be honest, it was all ok, the best being the teriyaki. The waitress had told us the satay wasn't spicy but it really was. The sweet and sour was as gluggy as it looked and the black bean was fine. It wasn't expensive and you get what you pay for.

Service was average at best - how difficult is it to suggest correct portion sizes instead of blatantly trying to sell as much as you can? It was all too slow and we had to ask to get our drinks brought out. I have to admit to feeling disappointed. I think it's probably good if you live in the area and fancy something hot and Asian delivered but we won't be rushing back.
