Just had breakfast at Pain Quotidien in Yas Mall. Spot the problem with trying to drink a scalding hot cup of chocolate out of this cup... especially for a six and seven year old. Delicious pain au raisin. Nicely poached eggs with the benedict but served on gigantic slabs of brioche which would have been much better sliced in half. Over cooked boiled eggs, which my daughter nevertheless enjoyed, but served with a measly slice of soda bread, not even toasted or buttered. The additional slice of toast we asked to go with them was at an additional cost. The waffle was dry and overdone and served on a china tile (why????!!!!) so that if you poured the maple syrup over it you would have had a table flood. Overall an average breakfast, poorly served, on ridiculously unsuitable plates / cups, at a cost for two adults and two children of AED 225. We won’t be going back.
