Kishi @ Al Forsan Club - a fantastic alternative to a brunch! Highly recommended! Also great value for money!
I was searching for the perfect venue to celebrate my husband’s bday as a family (we have young children of 3 and 18 months). Not wanting the traditional brunch, we opted for an Asian fusion/ Teppanyaki restaurant - and BOY were we in for a treat!
The venue is spacious, tons of natural light and overseeing the karting circuit (a hit for my 3 year old obsessed with cars!). The place and staff were extremely welcoming and amazing with our kids.
We ordered the Teppanyaki Set menu with beef and lobster + some edemame. As soon as the waitress took our order, we waited a max of 10 mins before our salads, soups and appetizers starting flowing! Salad was extremely fresh and crunchy (no picture as it was devoured on the spot!) - miso soup was just ok (I prefer my soup to be without mushrooms...) and the mix tempura came out hot and crispy (with a choice of dipping sauces and teriyaki). As soon as the dishes were cleared ‘the show’ started! Dave our chef du jour was delightful and made us all giggle - he even involved our 3 year old in the cooking process 🙂. Needless to say that the kids were so mesmerized by the fire and showmanship of Dave that they sat through the whole prepping with a huge smile! Our meal was beautifully presented and was finger licking good!
As it was special occasion I had pre-ordered the desert, otherwise it would have included just the mochi ice cream!
All in all a wonderful, non taxing (specially with kids) experience which we will gladly make a monthly tradition. Bon appetit and hope you will enjoy it as much as we did! Ciao
