I have talked about this place on other people's recommendation posts but never written a proper review.
This is our family's favourite go to place with visitors because the food is fantastic and the teppanyaki experience is great! For first timers I would suggest the set menu for 140dhs each - miso soup, vegetable and prawn tempura, chicken and tenderloin teppanyaki and a fruit platter.
We're not first timers so we went for our stalwart favourites (and over ordered as usual) of king prawns, chicken and tenderloin with egg fried rice to share between three of us. Chef Ahmed puts on a great cooking show, inviting children up to help cook on the grill and making everyone laugh and cheer throughout.
Drinks are reasonable and there is a good selection of other dishes if teppanyaki is not your thing - Asian dishes and sushi in particular.
The only down side is the location. Hidden deep within Al Forsan, with a view over the go kart track 😳 means it is always practically empty. This is a real shame because this is a hidden gem if ever I've seen one!
Please go and give it a try - they have a sushi promotion on at the moment even if you don't fancy teppanyaki.
