I suddenly realized I had an uncontrollable craving for Korean and remembered someone asked suggestions here so I decided to try Hankook. I'm sorry if I didn't come up with better photos but I always remember when I'm ready to dig in.
Anyway, the food was truly superb. One of the best Koreans I've had outside of Korea.
I literally only eat the same 3 dishes any time I eat Korean: Chap Chae noodles, seafood pancakes and bulgogi. All of them were perfect. The proper balance of the typical components (sugar, ginger, garlic, soya sauce and sesame oil) was nailed. Often times what kills a Korean venue for me is one of these key ingredients overpowering all the others.
The venue isn't anything to write home about both in terms of decor and location but I certainly don't mind. Service wasn't all that but again the food was so stunning that nothing would hinder my overall rating of ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ also considering the very honest total bill of 179 to which they applied a 10% off so I ended up paying 159 and the food was so much for 2 we even took half of the pancakes and noodles to go!
My most sincere recommendation for this venue if you are looking for great Korean!
