A need for a relaxing, calm brunch, and all things Italian, brought us to Filini Garden on Yas on Friday. From arrival, we appreciated the chill atmosphere and surroundings. The restaurant is very tastefully decorated and sets the Italian mood well. Everything was very pretty! Personally, I loved the garden arch as you walk in. The service was very good and the food was great. My favourite was the spinach and walnut risotto and the tomato tagliatelle, and the tiramisu was divine and soooo rich. My husband liked the grilled seafood plate. They paced the courses according to our readiness and drinks were topped up regularly. There wasn’t a big crowd so it was very quiet. This surprises me because I think it’s very reasonably priced and the food is of a high quality. It seems to be cooked as needed so it is fresh and nicely done. And there was no way we could eat all that was brought to our table. The welcome glass of prosecco was very welcome after a long week at work, and the saxophonist was nice though very subtle in the background. The outside spaces would be great for a large group and the outlook makes it feel like you are a million miles away. Alcohol AED365 this included prosecco. Soft drinks AED200. I’m fairly sure this included taxes.
