Brunch yesterday at Urban Kitchen was delicious. Everything I ate was great! The roast lamb was very tender and tasty. I don’t eat seafood but there was plenty of other choices for me. And my husband enjoyed the seafood selection, although maybe some of it had been previously frozen.
But today I’m going to focus on deserts! Sooo good! The Key Lime tart was amazing, the caramel tart was too. I don’t know the name of the cream puffy thing but it was delicious (I hadn’t heard the term before but it’s the orange one in the photo below). And who can resist a little touch of gold on your pretty deserts? I like how they were also under cover/refrigerated and handed to you so they hadn’t dried out.
I ate way too much and I so wanted to try some of the other things but I just couldn’t do it.
Service was also very good and it is just a lovely setting. We reserved very late and were down in the small quiet end which suited us perfectly. At first it was a bit stuffy, but as soon as I asked they upped the AC and it was perfect.
We were a bit confused with prices initially, but it worked out well in the end as they have a good deal going on the House drinks package at the moment.
I would certainly go back. I think it would be especially nice for visitors because the food is presented so beautifully and there are tons of choices. ❤️❤️❤️
