Dino’s Italian Saturday brunch - review. Food 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 Service 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 Price 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 Ambience 🤩🤩🤩🤩
Had brunch today (party of 3) and availed of the BB 20% discount. Photos tell the story. Looked fabulous, tasted wonderful - flavoursome and fresh. Al a carte (to the table). Took on the Frose expose for 190 per head. Other cocktails to chose from were Screwdriver, Cuba libre (something like that - white rum, tequila? Coke) and the frose. Beer also in the package. Bread (warm and melt in the mouth) and cheese/dip were great to start. Minestone soup delectable. Could have stopped there. Chose all 4 starters (Caesar salad, buffalo mozzarella salad, calamari and baby octopus, cauliflower fritti) all tasty and obviously fresh. Didn’t need to indulge further but....then we tried the margherita pizza, pepperoni pizza and the special - light thin crust and delicious. Decided to only try 2 mains (very full by now and didn’t want to waste food) and they didn’t disappoint. Ravioli was divine and the chicken/mushroom strezzapreti sumptuous. And there was more! Dessert plate of chocolate mud (rich), strawberry panacotta (smooth) and tiramisu. My daughter commented on how much coffee liquid seeped out of the cake when the fork went in and thought it a bit much, but still managed to find it tasty enough. We declined the offer of coffee. Beverages came quickly and on request - no delay in service. The restaurant was not busy, and the music was soft enough not to disturb conversation. Waiters attentive without being intrusive. They came to check required spacing between the courses and it was good to be able to delay the next round (and have a breather). Also allowed for a revision in choices (when we reduced the main choices from 4 to 2). All in all, fabulous brunch and easily worth the price (even without BB discount)
Also, love that you can write on the tablecloth cover with crayons - drawings, hangman, doodling - added to the experience and would be great with kids.
