Quick review for the Hotpot Friday evening brunch at Dai Pai Dong. We sat outside on their lovely terraced area (Winters here huurrahhhh!) Service was spot on from when we walked through the door. Very welcoming staff who took us through the concept of the Hotpot brunch. You have the Hotpot in front of you and first choose your soup base. You then go to a well displayed station area to make your own sauce - staff were there for recommendations, we took some recommendations and then got creative ourselves with what we wanted to make our sauces up of. You then choose what meats/seafood/vegetables/glass noodles you want for the first round and then cook in the Hotpot. They’re available in small dishes ready to take to your table and you then cook your food. The staff were always on hand for any questions we had and offering their own suggestions. We opted for the hops package and they were very attentive with keeping our glasses topped up. It was a lovely evening and a great spot for doing something a little different. I believe the price for the hops package was around 370pp but don’t quote me on that. We wanted to start later and arrived at 8pm but the brunch actually starts at 6:30pm and finishes around 11:30pm.
