Dai Pai Dong Saturday brunch
Value for money ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I had been here once before but over a year ago. It didnt dissapoint! It seems they had actually launched a new concept. We were ushered into the bar (didn't know they had one) for a welcome drink upon arrival. A lovely touch. While being guided to our table, the host explained that now they had three soup options by the main door and two salad stands on the side. I wish I took a picture of the salads, the crispy duck salad to be more specific. I think I ate the whole serving size bowl - it was so delicious. The remaining hot food was brought to our table automatically with the ability to of course keep reordering. The pumpkin puff, duck rolls, siu mai - couldn't stop eating this. There was also a seafood dumpling but I forgot the name. The noodles were nice but prob the only thing I wouldn't rave about. Probably because everything was so delicious. The pork belly was the only thing I didnt finish. I know it's a fatty dish but just a bit too fatty for my liking. My husband on the other hand would probably have ordered 10 of these if he was with us.
Desert was buffet style in the bar. Bursting at the seems, there was no room for dessert. Who am I kidding. There is always room for desert 😂. It was a small but more than enough. Sorry there were no pictures - I inhaled it too fast. There were cakes, brownie (very gooey), cheesecake, brulee, fruit.
Overall, it was a lovely experience and excellent value for money compared to other brunches out there. I wonder why I don't come here more often.
