This is a review of Choice Cut steakhouse that I won courtesy of Best bites and Novotel Al Bustan Hotel.
Sorry for the late post as I was pretty caught up with the festive season (or let's just say I was lazy).
I won a dinner for two through the competition on Best bites FB and took my family along (which the staff gladly agreed to accomodate when I inquired while making the reservation).
For starters we ordered Cured Salmon Gravlax and the Angus Beef Carpaccio. Both were fresh, presented fantastically and were perfect palate ticklers.
For the mains we ordered : * Certified Angus Ribeye Grain Fed steak (Well done) * USDA Prime Tenderloin Grain Fed steak (Medium) * Herb Crusted Australian Lamb Rack - (Well done) * Lamb Shank * Grilled King Prawns * Roasted marinated Corn-Fed Chicken
The steaks and lamb rack were succulent, cooked to perfection and were truly choice cuts and a special mention to the great accompaniments of sides and sauces includeing duck fat mashed potato.
The roasted chicken and grilled prawns were again both fresh ,delish and generously portioned.
The lamb shank was pretty much off-the-bone and extremely soft as well and was my personal favourite of the lot
We ended with warm chocolate fondant with ice cream and the sticky toffee pudding which were both sinfully good.
The biggest plus point for me, being a melophile was the two piece band belting out their acoustic renditions of tracks covering a wide range of genres.
