Four Seasons Hotel.
Had my first foray at Butcher and Still, Four Seasons for dinner last night. My partner and I are both on the ketogenic diet and it's difficult to find keto friendly options on a night out. It was our first time eating out in a month.
I can safely say we were not disappointed! The ambience was wonderful with a 1920s speakeasy vibe in the decor. The food was absolutely astounding with fabulous service to match. We opted for the tomahawk steak to share along with low carb sides which were; asparagus in hollandaise sauce, divine pan fried brussel sprouts with beef bacon and creamed spinach. The sides were given the same care and attention as the steak which was perfectly seasoned, crusted and rested for an ideal medium rare.
A special mention goes to our wonderful Serbian waiter Lazar who noticed we weren't touching the free truffle specked brioche bread (too high carbs but smelled amazing) so he brought us complimentary creamy mushroom soup to enjoy. Likewise we were allowed to choose a sauce each for the steak, but he insisted we try his favourite sauce too for free.
Yes it's heavy on the pocket, but just wonderful for a special date night or similar occasions. Will be saving up again for another visit!
