I have been to a lot of good brunches like St Regis at Saadiyat, Ritz, Emirates Palace but this has to be my favourite. The quality and range of food was fantastic.
When we arrived we were given a welcome cocktail which I chose the Strawberry mojito (very nice and refreshing). We were then taken to our table. The staff were very attentive when it came to drinks. The choice of drinks was fantastic.
Food: huge range from fab seafood, salads, roast beef, lamb but the best bit for me was the pork room, wow, for a non-Muslim who loves pork I was like a child in a sweet shop. They had every cuts of meat from belly, ribs to sausage rolls. The meat just fell off the ribs. The sauces to compliment it were lovely. They also had Scottish beer to compliment the pork which of course a girl from Scotland I was in my element.
The choice of sweets, omg, too much to choose from, again quality was fantastic I especially loved the macaroons, they were perfect. Again there was desert wine to compliment the sweets.
For kids there was a good range of food for them from a hotdog machine to pasta. No kids entertainment though but there were young kids there.
There was a gin, Jack Daniels and a Bacardi station outside where they will make you cocktails.
At end of brunch you get a drinks voucher for rays bar. The view up there is amazing and we saw a very busy corniche, waited a while for the fireworks but gave up and came home. The vibe was fab too at Rays. I liked how they had a no smoking section. It was also happy hour from 5 to 8.
Defo going to go back to this brunch again.
