We were shopping at Korean Supermarket in Musaffah and noticed there was a small restaurant next to it which apparently a Korean restaurant then decided to try it. The restaurant's name is Bon Ga. The place was small, fit around 15 pax but has a homey feeling to it. Clean and very well decorated. The owner himself took order and served the customers. It feels like visiting your uncle (uncle who is a great cook) because he is so warm and friendly. He came to other table just to explain which sauce goes into the dish. He also gave my daughter a Korean sweet 😊 As for food, it's comfort food at its best. I ordered the short rib soup which was tender and flavourful. Mister ordered Cheese Gimbap which my daughter and him seemed to love. The side dishes were also delicious, tasted like home cooking. And the portion is quite large, we ended bringing the leftover home. The date tea is a must, perfect sweetness to end the meal. Another plus point : he gave each table 1 complimentary small bottle of mineral water. We will come again to try their other dishes.
