Al Wahda Mall.

I came in to try their non-dessert options and landed on the quinoa with roasted butternut squash and their southern chicken sandwich paired with garlic and lemon tea. Salads are salads - they have crisp rockets, well roasted butternut that gives that sweet taste and balances the lemon dressing of the salad. For me it was nice. The sandwich is fine - I would’ve loved a thicker avo spread tough and not just a sliver, but the chicken was chunky and juicy enough. Bread is toasted perfectly, not hard and dry.

And since I had a few dirhams more from my voucher, I ended up scouting for a pretty sweet treat and ended up with the Key Lime with pretty stiff peaks, the caramel something cuppie with a nice design and the apple crumble plus lemon praline tarts (havent tasted them yet, but i like how they look! 😜 I usually eat with my eyes 🙄)

The service is a bit off - they have a lack of staff so the tables are left uncleaned, the patrons are waiting to be served or be asked for orders and the people at the queue is just getting impatient. I feel for the two ladies scuttering around but still managing to give a faint smile.

So all in all, I guess my experience with them is okay. 🤗 Happy weekend!
