Novotel, Capital Gate.
If you’re in the mood for some festive treats... You need to head to the Novotel capital gate. We were at a Christmas crafts event at the hotel today and decided to stay for the brunch. We sat outside on the balcony by Belgian Beer Cafe. It was perfect - great weather, sound of the water rushing by and attentive waiters. There's a pork selection (including honey back ribs, pulled pork sandwiches, black pudding bites and traditional Christmas ham with a pineapple glaze that just melted in your mouth). For the non-pork eaters, there was a great selection of meat (roast lamb, roast beef and chicken in cranberry sauce). I cannot rave about this brunch enough. Next, onto the desserts and this is where this brunch stands out. Traditional German stolen, red chocolate fountain, chocolate roulade, mince pies, plum pudding.
