A party of 8.
We went last night to the opening night of Curry Club at Angar and the food was wonderful, so much food and 175aed including a bottled beer.
Upon being seated you are given an explanation of the evening and a glass of chai. You are given a menu and you chose four curries from a list of 12 or more. You also get three starters (not shown in photos), the curries also come with rice, naan bread and yoghurt and then dessert.
I chose tikka masala, king prawns, saag aloo and mushroom mutter. They were all gorgeous - my favourite was the prawns which were plump and delicious.
There was so much food and it was only half way through that I remembered to take photos but the presentation was fantastic, all your dishes served on a quaint tray, with little touches to clear your palate in between courses.
This was a great way to try dishes you might not always try, there was a huge selection to choose from and lots of attention to detail. The staff were all keen to tell you about what was available and explanations of the curries without being intrusive
A great night which I highly recommend
