I was invited to come out to Al Ain and enjoy a little staycation while trying out a few of their restaurants as well. I'm always up for an adventure so I figured why not!
I arrived to find the hotel conveniently located right next to the Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium. I'm not a huge football fan, but the stadium looked amazing and I would definitely want to catch a game there. But I digress.
Upon entering the lobby, I was greeted by multiple staff. Actually, every time I went to the lobby, the pool, or ran into any staff; they were super friendly and always greeted me with a smile. The hotel has a very modern appearance. Everything about the hotel screams modern convenience. They even had built in USB ports by the bed! The blackout curtains were absolutely amazing. I woke up in the morning convinced it was still the middle of the night because there wasn't a sliver of light coming in.
But the food. The real reason I went. I was able to try out the Olive Tree restaurant and The Rooftop pool bar. I was surprised not only by the pricing at The Rooftop, but also by the portion sizes. I ordered sliders and popcorn shrimp. The sliders practically filled me up. The beef was cooked perfectly and the tomatoes and lettuce were also crisp and fresh. The popcorn shrimp was more what I would call dynamite shrimp, but either way, I was very pleased with them.
For breakfast I visited the Olive Tree restaurant. They had a really good buffet spread filled with loads of options. My favorite was the Eggs Benedict.
All in all, I had a great stay and would definitely recommend it for any football fans catching a game or anyone looking for a quick getaway for a night or two.
