Al Mariyah Island.
A quick review of brunch this weekend at Loca, I know they are getting a lot of press lately, but I really think they deserve it! Firstly - IT IS FIVE HOURS LONG!!! This has to be up there as one of the best value for money brunches in Abu Dhabi at the moment, for a mere 270 dhs one receives a feast of Mexican delights, I took some pics of the mains, but this was preceded by a course of various egg dishes, delicious freshly made guacamole and a course of tacos. We decided of the choice of four mains the salad was the nicest, although the ribs were a close second. Given the set up of the brunch (sharing platters for the first two courses and dessert) it recommended to do a sharzies with your friends on the choice of mains so you get to try everything. The margaritas were free flow and by the jug on request and really, really tasty! There was a range of other spirits and beers available also. The best part of this brunch was the atmosphere the one man band on his guitar was great and he even took requests and the fact that it's a table service brunch makes it a great option for a brunch where u really want to sit down and catch up with people and not spent half the brunch on a trek for food. Finally... service was great and they allowed us stay until our drinks were done (which in our case was almost 7pm) several 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽from me :)
